Not trying to hijack, but the fluid dampener will not work with a 6.0 fan on an OBS correct?

Yes it does. You don't need to use the fan spacer with the 6.0 fan and Fluidampr. Use the OBS OEM fan, then you need the spacer.
Regardless of which fan you use, it is highly suggested to swap in the SD water pump pulley otherwise it's going to be a PITA to get belt on.

And if you run a Horton fan clutch, you run the stock OBS steel fan without the spacer.

I can tell the difference, it’s cheap insurance all the big diesels use the Fluidampr from oem. I would never pay the price of a new one though. I bought mine never been installed for 300$
