1996 Truck has been running rougher than usual for a couple months now. Has acted like it runs out of fuel. Yesterday it died and it wouldn't start back up. No smoke while cranking, has RPM, and blah blah. So today just for the hell of it I unplugged the ICP and it started up so I drove it home about 11 miles and had no problems.

Does this mean the ICP is bad or does it mean the IPR is bad?

You can buy a cheap code reader and read the codes and google search them, to get an idea of what to check for.

This turned out to be a lack of fuel due to the p/u tube being broken I am assuming. I have 6 or 7 gallons of fuel I cannot access in the rear tank.
