no start

my truck was at a shop getting a new starter and some front end work done.

the mechanic drove the truck. it ran great & then he parked it.
when I went to start the truck, the engine would just keep turning but it
would not fire.

the problem was the IDM relay which was replaced from his own truck which is the same year. I drove the truck to my house which is about 25 miles parked the truck when I came back 10 minutes later the motor just keeps turning but it doesn't fire

I replaced the 30 amp fuse but that didn't solve the problem.

Is their something shorting out the IDM relay?

hey chad glad you made it over, I've been meaning to get ahold of you. I haven't been doing to well on electrical on these trucks but if I can lend a hand let me know, I wouldn't mind coming up to your place. I do have a spare Idm if you want to try it. do you still have that 4r100 core?, if so I want it.

Where is a good online shop to buy a IDM from?

hey, no problem, where are you located?, we just picked up some Idm's through classifieds here and psn, craigslist etc. they were much cheaper that way. be wary of rebuilt units, some are complete junk
