06 F250 New short block

Well LipStick is finally back on the road but here are a few pictures of the process. This is how it began.

After torn down I discovered the cylinder walls looked like chrome they were polished so good. And this turned into me getting a used short block with 40k on it.

Then I started the rebuild.

Decided to gasket match the intake side of the heads

Did the best job I could being a rookie with a dremel tool

Then the long block set up with a little paint

Lower valve cover and hpop cover paint matched

Truck sitting on the lift for a month and Engine build starting.

Heres the 66mm Turbo sitting on the CED divided t4 up pipes.
The kit went together good, had a slight clearance problem with the downpipe hitting the passenger side up pipe. With a little persuasion of my bfh on the downpipe, I was back on track. I was happy about my Magnaflow 4" because it was a true 4" all the way to the turbo, until this point, now I wish I had ordered an MBRP.

Here she is all put back together minus the coolant filtration

Every new truck with a new engine should get some new shoes, dont you think?

How many miles were on the bad engine?

Had around 210k on it. Truck had lots of red dirt on it when he got it so I'm guessing it just never got air filters replaced and dusted the motor.
