I know my 366 and there kit clears the dog house but im sure the bigger charger may sit a littel different in there.

Wow, thats a first!

While I have a similar issue, usually when WOT, the truck almost falls on its face as well, but it feels more like a trans issue. I have the 38r intake with 4 inch aluminum ducts and a Amsoil dry filter.

Love the fact someone else here uses IDS!!!

Just take a 4" T-bolt clamp and snug it down in the middle of that 90* boot. It won't collapse anymore. Doesn't need to be more than snug tight just so that it can't twist on the boot.

So I bought four hose clamps for $5 and super glued them to the outside of the boot... as hack as it sounds it actually looks decent and is working great for the time being, we'll see how long it lasts but I figured why not try it.
