Total control over the fan clutch. Also don't have to deal with the problematic thermal fan clutch. Better mpg, truck warms up quicker.

BTW, I just replaced my water pump and had to pull the Horton clutch for the first time. You're going to need a bigger wrench for the clutch. I happened to have a 2" fan clutch wrench on my tool chest, worked perfectly.
And I forgot how heavy that SOB is with the steel fan
