Ive got one farm truck that i work on that i cannot scan with my snap on scanner. What is needed to make this truck so that i can scan it? Its got power to the obd port as it powers up my bluetooth scanner, it just wont scan it.

^ That's best option.
Could be a setting in your snap on for "non-OBD2 compliant."

Can you swap in a later model OBS computer instead of re-flashing?
Or does it have to be the older PCM? Reason I ask is I thought there is different wiring as well from OBDII to the PCM but don't recall for sure. Different wires probably go to different pins in the PCM if that is the case.

if you have a chip tuned for a later style PCM, you'll be able to connect with the scan tool...or we (or others) can reprogram the PCM.

MLE programs would be what you'd want to run, since they are the most common for 94.5-97 manuals.
