I have a used 7.3 Tapercore Intercooler for sale. Most recently had this on my OBS prior to selling it.

Will fit any Superduty 7.3 or 6.0, and also OBS trucks with custom mounts.

Some of the fins are messed up but overall in good shape. No leaks. Big heavy unit! Just the IC, no pipes.

$700 shipped

Will get pictures when I'm back in town this weekend.

Do the custom mounts come with it?
The bottom ones, yes. You have to come up with your own top mounts as I used them on the IC I sold the truck with.

I just used rubber isolators top and bottom. I think they were motor mounts for a Volvo or something. Super sturdy.

Here are the pictures. Tried to get a closeup of the fins. The upper ones were from a stock grille tabs on the OBS. Didn't catch it in time. The others down low are from where I had a power steering cooler temporarily mounted to it years ago.

There is also a "repair" weld down low on the front pass side. Was a tiny spot I didn't like the looks of and thought it might leak, so I had it welded up to make sure.

Lastly the mounting tabs for a SD are still there on the sides. I had a shop fab up mounts around them years ago when I put this on my OBS. Those mounts can and will be removed professionally if the buyer has a SD.

This is the best IC you can get...

couple of pictures how we install them in a OBS.

Bottom mount just weld 1x1 tube to the top of the frame.

Thanks Cary. He's exactly right, this thing is huge and one of the best made on the market.

If I could make it work on my 6.4, I would still be using it.

Here's how I had it mounted in my OBS. I wanted it to be fully mounted by the core support so that any frame flex would have no bearing on it.

Because of it's size and weight, I had the supports professionally added to the sides.

Heading down to Fort Worth Texas for the weekend. Leaving tomorrow morning and be coming back home Monday.

Can deliver to the DFW area or anywhere along I-35 in between.

Make me a fair offer and I'll bring it with me.

Will factory cac tubes work with this? I see on Hypermax's website they come with tubes.

Yes, with longer boots.

The outlets on the IC are shorter than factory, so their tubes are slightly longer.

I extended some factory pipes to work with them in a pinch since I didn't have time to source longer boots.

Finally got pictures of it since I had the custom mounts removed and cleaned it up a bit. Wish I had a way to clean the cooler portion without getting into the fins. Would probably have to be a hot tank, which I don't have.

Thought I had a buyer but haven't heard from him since last week so it's still available.

FYI... I would consider trading for a 6.4 parts: aftermarket Intercooler, ported intake manifold, stage 1 or 2 cam, studs, pushrods, springs, etc.

Would even add $$ on my end for the right deal.
