Picking up a Job 1 2011 F350 and it has not had the Update flash done yet. Is it worth paying the dealer to do this? truck has already been on a diet and has the supporting tuner. It this flash available outside of the dealer?
I have been out of the Ford world for a while so time for me to do some learning.

if you are running aftermarket tuning, updating the ford flash is of no benefit to you..

That's what I figured. Truck has a XRT Pro currently. How does it work seeing as the early trucks had less power compared to the 16's? The tuner has a max of 150HP so does that now bring the 11 to the 16 level with the tune?

no the 15-16 has a much better turbo, that puts about 60-70 hp on the 11-14 .
