Has anyone found a turbo blanket that they can install after the MPD turbo is already installed? I tried for about 30 minutes this morning to get one to clear what little room there is between the turbo housing and the exhaust manifolds with no luck. Thanks for the help.

Not sure how the mpd kit is mounted but I was able to get the blanket on the turbo with it already on. I used a thermal zero t4 blanket. Fits perfectly. H&S 64 bell turbo kit.

Did youbinstall that as you were installing the turbo? Problem I’m having is I can’t get the blanket to slide between the housing and the exhaust manifolds. There’s maybe 5/16” clearance in there. Did you. Prince any benefits of having a blanket?

Was not able to get the blanket on before installing turbo. I wrapped the manifolds and down pipe and blanket. I did notice a difference in spoolup. Under hood Tamps are way down. Boost when Cruising 50 mph+ is up by about a pound
