Arrived home today and noticed that I was leaking from the end of driveshaft the the rear end. Looks to be coming from the inside of that adaptor that connects to the drive shaft that connects to the rear end. I'm not good with the terms so work with me here. Lol... Pictures are posted so any help will do.

That is called the pinion seal. Common piece to wear out. Only worth 60.00 or less.

Ok thanks brother! What's the repairs like. What would have to be done?Just curious. I'm going to knock this out this weekend if I can. And can I still drive with the leak if I have to?

yes you can still drive it. Pretty easy and self explanatory. undo the four bolts that hold the u-joint to the flange. Then undo the big nut that holds the flange onto the pinion. drain the diff fluid. Take a small chisel and a hammer and knock the old seal out. Clean the area well and lightly tap the new seal in. Fill with fluid and reinstall flange and u-joint assembly.
