If you’re talking about tape residue goo gone is pretty gentle. If you just want it gone lighter fluid usually works pretty good.

Goo gone, a plastic scraper/blade, lots of patients. The last ingredient is always the toughest for me.

Just did mine. Used an eraser wheel on a drill, goo gone just wouldn’t do it. Made it a quick job.

Those things work. Just don't accidentally touch it to something you don't want taken off. I was removing my old cracked 4x4 stickers and accidentally got a section of my pin striping. Did its job and took it right off.

is it plastic or sheetmetal? May have to blade most of the thickness off then get after it with the wheel or some solvent. Ive been interested in how a wheel works with removal from abs or plastic items.
