passenger side coolant leak

hey guys so ive had a very intermitent coolant leak on my 01 7.3 from the passenger front. i can see where it runs down the front of the block... its a very small and slow leak. it appears to be leaking behind the timing cover and no traces from the water pump it self... the tstat housing does leak a little but its on the driver side of the block and i cant see how it would be the same leak... as its dry around the water pump except the driver side ive read about 7.3 blocks cracking and leaking.... where do these typically occur????? thanks!!!!
