I have a question for a friend I just didn't know how to answer because I haven't really ever messed with 6.4's before, he's asking me if by chance he could single turbo his 09 king ranch f350 6.4 that has been deletd but use the stock bigger side of the compounds? It's a thought that crossed his mind and would like to save that money that comes from buying a whole new turbo set up.

There wouldn't be a way to attach the up pipes to the charger. It would require more fab work then what it'd be worth. You'd have to attach the up pipes to a round flange of some sort. There are definitely better options. What's wrong with the factory compounds? Why not just keep running them?

Its a horrible idea. Do an upgraded set of stock appearing drop ins. THere are some for cheap in the classifieds.
