Those are good prices. What would labor cost (ballpark) to install the '15 VGT turbo and all the necessary parts on my '14. I just need basic labor cost for now at least so I know how much to budget.

I should rephrase that and say $100 per hour is average in my area so i can use that as a starting point.

I'm running the streetmax on stock fuel.

Is it a significant difference between the stock turbo? Gettin ready to pull the trigger on a new turbo and i just dont want to spend the money on something where i regret that i would have bought something better.

I would say there is a good difference but also will point out tunning plays a big role. With the streetmax your looking at 600hp with the proper amount of fuel.

Here is a stock '15 turbo.

I recently purchased a turbo from a nearby shop and its a 64mm 2015 style but it doesent have the inlet face machined out, it looks just like the factory turbo face as in the pic above but with a billet wheel. I called the shop and they said they dont machine the faces of the inlet anymore like in the pic above. Is this more restrictive to air flow or does it even make a damn? Just wondering if i should send it back and tell them to machine it or if its even worth messing with. Any input is appreciated, thank you.
