2017 Transmission Temperature

I just recently bought a 2017 platinum towing my 26’ enclosed trailer trans temp was running up around 237 just going down the freeway. Doing the same run my 2015 wouldn’t hardly get above 200. Just wondering if this is normal on the new trucks and if anybody has done anything to lower the temps.

No idea if this will help, but my 2016 started getting high trans temps and it turned out my secondary radiator was low. Lots of people told me it was normal but when I filled it up, temps came right down.

I will double check mine. Thanks for the input.
