Thought it was pinion at first, but after further review, I am pretty sure it broke an axle. Won't move in 2wd. Pull locker switch and voila it will move. Anyone have any ideas of a replacement that might handle this kind of abuse? :biggun:

I had it happen to me when I did a burn out once years ago. Snapped the axle on one side in half. 2011 f250

For the power level you are at, I'd be thrilled it's just a rear diff or axle and not something in the motor

Pretty thrilled. Ended up putting a stock one back in it, because I got to thinking about it and for 300 bucks installed that is probably where I want the weak link.

There was absolutely no metal in the rear end, and the broken axle had a perfect break in it that I guarantee is a straighter break than you could cut it with a bandsaw. Never seen anything like it.
