Hiccup then ABS light.

Just every once in a while running down the road I get a hiccup in the engine. Like 2 or 3 times and then the cruise kicks out and I get the ABS light on in the dash. Hit resume on the cruise and it still works. After shutting truck off and coming back to drive it again the ABS light is off in the dash. Its an auto trans. Any ideas where to look first. Also once the speed reading in the dash quite for just a second when it did this.

Sounds like youre losing speed signal. Check the ground by the lf headlight, there is an ssm for that. Otherwise, probably looking at a rear diff speed sensor.
