Sorry its a little late but I use to work on the 250 and 400 saws. I worked for a company that ran them all day long and the had there issues. But the worst issue is the cost of replacement parts from amada. Check the limit switches they like to get a little sticky. Lube the switch up and clean them out. Also the pulse coder track can get packed with shavings over time and the coder toothed wheel will run on top of the shavings and skip time. Your problem may also be the dirrectional control valve itself. May want to manually operate the spool.
