Default Flashlight

Guys, my streamlight has finally given up the ghost after about 10 years, and really dont want to spend that kind of money on another light. What do yall use that will hold up to lots of abuse? I.e. working on heavy equipment

I’ve always liked the streamlight protac hl3. You can find them for around 75 online. Ive bought hugsby lights that were pretty much the same flashlight for almost half the price.

I think streamlight is lifetime warranty. At least on the stingers. Hell, about the only thing they dont cover it seems is dumbass (guy at work tried warrantying one he ran over with a forklift or something stupid) and the lenses. Hell they warrantied one I left wedged in between a frame and *** and melted the switch...

Wow I didn't know they had a lifetime warranty but I see now. I figured as long ago as I got it, there wouldn't be warranty left. Mine is a Stinger DS. As far as size, from google looks like just under 9 inches long

send it back to streamlight. they will fix it. I just had my survivor fixed. took a couple weeks to get it back, not too bad. I had to pay for shipping but that was it.

I use a coast pen light. Love it. Its stout too. Its been dropped all over equipment and log trucks. Its 2 AAA batteries though. Not sure if you need a rechargeable or not.

Recently grabbed a couple light from harbor freight. The rechargeable pen light and the led flashlight that is close to the same size but has a belled head are both very good options for the price! Less than 15 bucks and less than 8 bucks.

The coast was like 18 er something from home depot. Been using it for the past 5 years.. it has a inspection(spot) beam also not a flood beam like the rest.. be worht trying out while the streamlight gets worked on.
