Sort of. I want to use an extension that leads under the carpet to the interior of the center console. I wanted to see about tapping the harness with an aftermarket cable. I hate seeing the cables all hanging around out of the dash.

i thought about doing the same thing, i think coming off the aux jack is just two or three wires, just get some colored wire of the same ga and run them to the console, solder the connections to keep the music quality

4 wires...I'd bet Left audio, Right Audio, power, ground. I want to hide the splice inside the dash. I can cut the end off of a 3.5mm headphone extension but need to figure out how to wire it up.

You're on your own for that my friend lol. Let me know how it goes. Maybe post this question in the audio thread. Might get a better answer there

Here's what I found from my digging for my 08 aux jack. Now I haven't tried doing anything with it as I basically don't drive the thing much any longer so proceed at your own caution/risk. :)

The aux jack has 4 wires - "blue, blue/green, yellow/green, white/green"

blue = Left
blue/green = Right
Other two = Ground
