08+ Upliftter switch install with harness

Has anyone done this. I picked up the upfitter switch to find out another site gave me some false info on the extra plugs behind my dash so I am going to order the wiring harness to complete this project. Has anyone else done this?

Suggestions?

I am looking to do the same thing, my truck came with the change tray next to the trailer brake controller. I have read on various other forums that all I needed to do was buy the switches, and all the wiring and harnesses to make them work were already in the dash. I am judging from your post that this information is not correct? Hope someone can give some more info.

i did this on an 06 wiring plugs in behind the glove box and have to feed to the cubby spot it doesnt take very long just take your time and also did the high idle mod using the last small amp or voltage switch on the far right

Buy the kit from Ford, it has the switch bezel, the harness, and directions to put it all in.

How much did it cost to buy the switch bezel and the harness from Ford?

Just did this install today, the instructions they send with it are ok, but IMO the picture sucks. the one thing that makes this job a lot easier is to remove the headlight switch benzel, the relay box you install sets right behind it.
