Scorpion flares on a 09?

Has anyone tried flares from a newer truck on our trucks? I have a 09 with bushwacker pocket flares which I despise. I don't mind the oe flares but don't give me enough coverage and police are sticky around here. Has anyone tried some 2011+ extend-a-fender flares? They look like they would fit but probably not lol.

why not get the smooth bushwackers?

Which ones ore those? The bushwacker oe?

choose between the OE style (1.5" protrusion) or street flare (.75" protrusion).

I have 20x12, I need bigger then oe flares.

Another problem that doesn't make me love oe flares is they are smaller. So when I take mine off and bolt the oe on I have a stripe all the way around in my paint from the old flares rubbing. I would need to paint both fenders and both box sides.

Those could probably be professionally buffed out. Don't think it would need to be painted.

It's to bear metal in some spots, primer in others. I had dreams of buffing as well
