I have a ******d and studded 2006 f-250 6.0, I have a sct X4 that I've just been running on the 65hp tow tune. Very unhappy with how it shifts while towing, I'm sure this question has been asked alot, but I'm looking for a good daily driver tune That Won't hurt my motor or tranny, anyone recommend anything? Also looking for a good tow tune, usually just pull 26ft enclosed trailers with snowmobiles, not sure exactly on weight,if I could get a tune that would do both it would be even better! if I could get any help id appricate it Thanks :ford:

Run a different tune or get custom tunes. Also you can play with shift pressures and make shifts firmer with the tuner.

Ive had pretty good luck with both idp and tsd as tow tunes. Gear head is a go to as well for a lot of guys, i havent personally tried them yet.

Safest for motor and the trans.... stock tuning.

If you want to add some power the safest way, I like IDP is my choice. I use their street tune for towing my camper (~7500 loaded). Extreme X or Extreme Street for daily driving use.

Try a few different ones out and see what you like.
