MCC for the 6.4

I am picking up a 2010 king ranch 6.4 later friday with 180,000 miles on it but had a few questions since this is going to be my first 6.4 with a mini maxx. The owner states that he has a mini maxx that is mcc unlocked and the whole nine yards and all i need to do to use it is download Maxx Calibration Control. Back before the whole HS debacle, i had downloaded a copy of it but that was years ago and long gone. Now it looks like you have to pay to access the software since HS does not have it for free on their website anymore(which doesnt seem to exist).
Does anyone know if this is the route that you have to go in order to gain access to MCC? I do not need an unlock code but it seems like i would have to purchase one just to get it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I could send you a copy of the software. I'm not sure on the size of the program though
