Since I usually just lurk I figured I would finally contribute a bit. After having the parts for an intercooler setup for almost a year now an oil leak finally made me get around to putting it in. Everything is stock stuff from an e99. Now most of this has been covered a billion times, but where I differed is I changed the stack order. I removed the condenser and put the intercooler right next to the radiator. By doing that the stock pipes and boots fit perfectly. No mods needed.

As some bonus info while doing my efuel setup I found this slick premade harness kit at tractor supply. Its originally made for powering led lights but works perfect for the fuel pump. Everything is weather tight and looks real clean. The wire splitter makes it super easy if you ever want to add a second pump. All told $30.

When converting my system to efuel I decided to use the factory lines. I ordered new seals as a preventative and I'm glad I did. Mine weren't leaking but damn if the shouldn't have been. Fyi if you're doing this in the truck make sure you get all of the old seal out of the caps. I had a good bit stuck and had to dig it out with a pick.

Now as for the oil leak it was the big plug in the back of the head. The whole backside if the head was covered and the truck would leave a puddle when idling. When you replace these make sure to get the updated plugs. They are longer then the old ones. They also call for locktite 277, napa was the only local place I could find it.

One final thing, check your wire connections. When I went to reseal my IPR I found the connector was good and melted and the weather seal was gooey mush. Only one color matched up with the replacement from RiffRaff so pay attention to the colors you cut. I also double sealed my with marine heat shrink that has an adhesive sealer inside it, then used a larger pieced over both splices.

I think what you did there with the IPR harness is going to be the difference between good reliable old trucks and junk. I knew this has been a problem area so I just bot the new sub harness that goes to this area. Same results just more $$$.
