Black Maxx Initializing Communication

How the heck do you get past this?

The manual doesn't mention anything about it. From what I read on the forums it just needs updated, but low and behold the h&s website is down. Bought this from Dallas @ H&S on the forum a while back. It won't do squat other than this. I need to be able to select "removed"...

Well, I got past this little issue with the help of a website called diesel tuner pros.com.

The only problem is it appears this unit is still Vin locked to another vehicle... I was told it was an unmarried ready to use, but I guess not.

So an update on this. I've ade quite a bit of communication with Dallas today. He insisted that the only vehicle it was on before was his 6.7 and it was unlocked. So I googled the Vin it's displaying and it's actually for a 2010 Dodge Ram, not the 2010 Ford like the screen shows.

I don't know what the heck is going on with this thing!

Ive seen this happen before...someone selected a new vehical while the tuner was locked to the dodge vin. Only way around is to get a unlock code

I sure hope that isn't the case but I'm afraid you're right. Sucks massively!

Just an update, I worked with Dallas to get it unlocked. He was very good to deal with during all this.

Now just need a TPMS adapter to turn the monitoring system off!
