Default Reset unit/unmarried

Got a single cab 08 6.4 project and had my old MM programmer cleaned for new truck. Upon loading software for new vin the unit never gives me options for power level desired programming & never asks about e m equipment? Truck loads whatever file it’s throwing and starts & runs fine but idk if removal of equipment will cause issues since options are never given? Originally it was purchase as a race unit & ran canned files before going m c c/ G H on old truck for many yrs trouble free before selling for a 6.7.

So question really is did this return itself to a possible “street” unit since it was cleaned/unlocked/unmarried & really was never a “race” unit? I see mcc code needs repurchased but lost on what’s really going on since I can not specify what program I want loaded (easy, mild, hd300). I’m just trying to remove junk to see how trucks running and build from there so I was hoping for d p f/ e 9 r selection with no luck to start my build progress. Anyone got any ideas on what’s going on? Thanks PSA! Jayson

Could be it's a newer tuner that has the unlock under user options. If it is already loaded in the truck, go to menu>show settings and see what it says beside fuel type. If it says ULSD, it is emission equipped tuning. If it says high sulpher, you can remove said components.

Also, if there is a serial number in show settings, post it up.

Thanks buddy for your quick replies, yes it does say ulsd and like mention I had thought it needed to say high sulfur which it does not.. serial is 0070125726, appreciate guidance and I’ll explore that user options area.

You are correct and looks to be under show setting and code is needed. Thanks again
