So after tearing into this truck a long time ago, finding cracked heads and Ryan deciding to build a monster. We finally have all the parts we need to start building this engine, then mounting up the turbos. Ryan is going to post some pics up as I am a retard and don't know how. :pointlaugh: We got the engine bottom end started today. Rotating assembly was balanced at our good friends at ALR performance. It was out by 60 grams, and now it's at zero! Put the new mains in today and dropped in the crank. Got the front and rear covers on and bolted up the oil pump. The new coated pistons from elite are wrapped with gapless 2nd rings and waiting to go on Carillo Rods. They should get dropped in tomorrow and that block will start looking like an engine again.

It might give my semi-stock Raptor on 37's a good challenge. lol

I'm just hoping the weather is gonna be co-operative by the time it is done.

Engine is coming together! Got the Coated pistons on the Carillo rods today and dropped them into the block. Put the tray and oil pan back on. Got the ARP studs in and put on the heads from elite. Got everything all torqued up, then i had to make a bracket for our engine stand cause i'm scared at how heavy it is getting and there's too much money into it for it to hit the floor! Should get the valve train on tomorrow and get the injectors in. Waiting on ford to get me front and rear seal installers so we can get it back in the truck. Glad everyone is looking forward to it, i'm glad to see it going back together, i've been tripping over it for a while.

Cool, now it is gonna get real. Not too much longer now.

Not to much longer indeed:naughty:...

However the realness won't surface until I rebuild my trans:doh: But we should get a good glimpse this fall.
