My ‘16 6.7 is leaking diesel somewhere. The bottom side of the engine is completely covered in diesel/oil, it smells like diesel but looks engine oil caked all over. I have noticed it has spread underneath more lately. I check the fuel filter on top on the engine and it’s fine. You cannot see anything dripping while idling so maybe I have a high pressure leak?
Any thoughts on where to start?

Some dealers don’t care. Mine doesn’t and it’s worth looking into. Had a Dodge that was dereted since it was new and had warranty work done on it as well.

I took it to a buddy’s shop and the mechanic said I blew a seal out on top of the engine. I’m not sure which one I did not get to speak to the mechanic personally. I was told it was a 36 dollar part but the had to drop the transmission. I did not have to pay labor (18hrs). I was told I need a better crank case vent system. I was told the hot tune I’m running cases too much pressure build up in the crank case.

What is the best crank case vent to buy? Or which direction do I need to go?
