Mirror swap

my truck came with the little goofy mirrors but they are power mirrors. I want to put just basic power tow mirrors on it (i don't want to add the heated or auto folding or any of that high tech stuff). just the power mirror where only the glass is power adjust.
my question is are the factory plugs all the same for the mirrors? and if they are, will the clearance light/turn signal on the side of the tow mirror work as is or would I have to rewire some stuff?

I just did this. I had power little paddle style mirrors as well. I bought basic power tow mirrors without heat or auto fold. It took 45 minutes and was completely plug and play. And I can see now!! Haha.

Yes. I was also worried about that. Everything lit right up though.
