8 inch lift and 40s?

i have a 2014 f350 crew cab I ordered a 8 inch lift and 40x14.50x24 and the wheels I got from a friend are 24x12 rockstars with a -44 offset my question is will they even clear with the 8 inch? I also ordered a 1 and 2 inch leveling kit for it to help out cause I didn't want to trim much if any? an help or suggests would be great thanks

I don't think they will fit on just the 8, I'd say if you do the level too they might tuck. Thats a big, wide tire... Haha

I was thinking the same thing. That tire is SO W I D E. The fact that it's a 40" tire isn't bad, it's the width that'll probably get you. BUT, since you've already ordered it all, you might as well try it out and see what happens......let us know. Hope it works out for you! Good Luck...

Not going to work. I recently did a 2014 with 10" Fabtech, 24x12 Forces, and 40s and it still rubbed pretty bad.

Guess that answers that for me......I will just be happy with what I got.

Think I might send the 40s back an order 38x13.50x24 I those will prob clear better then the 40s will with an 8 inch

You still might be cutting it close......I'd keep asking around first just to be certain....

I've seen 37s all day so I'm sure it's fine

I had 37 13.5 on 20x12 with a 6" and no running at all with little trim so u should be good I would think

This is the exact tire I'll be running with an 8" lift. I've seen a 8" on 40's, but it was on an 11" wide wheel and he had to do a lot of cutting, I don't see a 12" wide wheel working.

I had an 8 inch kit back in the day on my 08 gas job running 40s. no rubbing at all
