Just wanted to help a few guys out as I couldnt find any pics online of a side to side comparison of flares and no flares.

Flares

Made my tires look smaller but gave good coverage and look, had the front surround painted with left over paint

No Flares

Clean wider look without flares but rock pecks are bad, especially on dark colors you can notice much easier.

What's a fair price on that 3M clear rock guard? I contacted a local place near Baton Rouge, La and they told me $500 to do the entire dark gray (2 toned) part along the bottom of my truck. Is that a good price or no? To me it sounds high, but that's the only place I have got a price from.

3M Rock Guard Clear will solve the chip problem. Truck looks good

Thanks man, honestly I like the no flares better with 37's. But when I move to 40's and take up some of that extra space with 15.50s it will look real good. But everyone has their own look

I don't normally like those fender flares but you've changed my mind...Well at least with these trucks!

Truck is beautiful! I have to get PTM door handles!

Thanks man, I wouldn't do it unless your at LEAST running 35s, these are big flares and make your tires and wheels look smaller IMO

Another tip if you buy the 'bolt on look' is to check your package and make sure all dummy bolts, washers, and lock nuts are there BEFORE you start assembling them and putting them on the truck. I was shorted 2 bolts and nuts and had to run to town and hunt down some replicas with two flares on smh

What comes on the back of these flares? Is there some 3M tape? What do they do now days to keep the flare from rubbing the paint off?

Glad you posted this man. I'm leveling mine and going to run 20x10 with 25's and was debating on flares. My truck is the same color as yours and I agree that no flares definitely looks better.

Mine are extend a fenders. I run no edge trim, due to it is black and clashes. Figure I will run it and see what happens to paint. Old truck I sealed them to fenders with white silicone. No sealing this go round.

Appreciate all the nice comments.

I only ask because I have a real nice groove in my paint on all fenders. Didn't take long to do it either lol
