What's up guys...

I'm not sure which route would be more beneficial. I rarely drive this truck(5k in 2yrs) except to putt around town and tow my camper (10k travel trailer).

97 f250 ECLB, DIY 6637, 3" DP, 4" straight exhaust, ww2, ts6 pos, Suncoast e4od and TC, maghytec tranny pan, boost pyro and Trans temp guages.

For the price point, $1200-$1500 I can do either stage 1s or an intercooler. Not quite sure which would be a better bet.

Any and all input is welcome.

Thanks

Josh

I was able to do my intercooler for $500. Most expensive part is the e99 spyder.

I've read a good bit of writeups on 7.3SD and 6.0 IC on OBS trucks. They all required welding. I unfortunately don't have the means to piece something like that together. I've found BANKS kits for around 1300-1500.

I scored my e99 IC, spyder, and pipes off Craigs for $200. Then I put the IC closest to the radiator and the stock pipes fit with no mods. It would require an ac drain and refill though.

You can also get a set of SD IC pipes, section them and use silicone couplers and not need to weld.

I think it would be smartest to intercool first because if you put big injectors on...EGT's are going to rise (especially towing a 10k trailer).
