Hydra mount options, need opinions

I would look on digikey or mouser once you figure out the connector type. I remember when I used to build pc's back in the day you could replace the ribbon cables that went from the mb to the drives and different ports (usb, serial, firewire, etc) with a molex type connector. It basically replaced the ribbon with individual wires which you could then squeeze together to make a round type cable. Here is an example of the molex connectors. Tyco would be another to check out.

Switch Option For Hydra

I wish PHP would offer TS style switch again too.

They do offer a couple of good options though if you don't like the standard Hydra Switch. One is a gauge pod option with a 2-1/16" gauge pod style digital selector that fits in a standard pod for $62 and comes with a longer ribbon cable for pillar mount. Another is a completely wireless option via Cyclops that links via blue tooth to your cell phone for $162. Kinda pricey but a good option that keeps your dash origonal.
