Figured i might as well share my build with everyone.

Truck is a 2010 F250 KR with Quad Captains. The factory audio is terrible. Finally got tired of it and planned out an in-depth SQ build. I listen to all genres of music so clarity and little to no distortion is wanted. Will also be installing a pure sine wave inverter while the truck is torn apart when the time comes. Sync and steering wheel control will be retained using the Maestro RR unit.

Audio Components:

Alpine X008U DD Nav
Sirius Tuner
Alpine H800 DSP
Alpine Rux controller
Maestro RR with ford 01 harness.
HAT l6SE for mids in doors
HAT L1 Pro R2 tweeters in A pillar pods.
8W7s in each center console.
3-JL HD600/4 amps mids and tweeters.
2 JL HD750/1 amps for subs
SMD Mono RCA and splitters
KNU Fleks 1/0 Tinned OFC power wire.
KNU Karma 10 ga and 14 ga speaker wire.
SDS CLD tiles, CCF and MLV.
ToolMakerz Custom Fused Power and Ground distribution blocks ( 2 1/0 in-3 1/0 and 3 4ga out)
Clear shrink sleeves and a label maker
Many feet of techflex
XS D6500 Batteries

Front stage will be ran active. Rear stage will be left alone for a couple months while I get the front squared away.

The Mids will be ran on 300w a piece. One 600/4 bridged will be used.
Tweeters will receive 150W a piece from a 600/4.

Gains will be adjusted using SMD meters. The Goal is ZERO clipping.

Still gathering a couple items then the teardown will begin.

Will update with pics once it comes time for the install.

Any install tips?

YES!!! I have always wanted to run HAT gear, mainly want some 8's in the doors maybe even with the 3-way.

That H800 will be awesome, but just curious as I honestly have been out of the game for a while and haven't studied pricing, but how does the H800 compare with the Mosconi that everyone seems to be running? Also has alpine changed it where the double dins no longer control the processors? I used to run a W205/H701 combo that worked great and was nice integration.

Another thought on the center consoles, will you be building the enclosure yourself? I just recently got the chance to personally check out JL's 8w7 center console stealth box and personally I am not impressed. Probably because how deep the sub is but I like my personal design much better, and I think you could get a better selection and potentially cleaner sounding subs. Nothing is wrong with the 8w7, its a monster, but a 10w6 or even 12w6 might work better for a true SQ build.

Please take lots of pics of the install, some wiring and CLD porn would be nice!

Computer or the rux controller have full control over processing the h800 and x008 do still offer tuning options from the dd. I will not be using the jl stealthboxes. Still kicking around box ideas it will be a 4th order or a smaller ported box. L6se will handle from 55hz to 6khz with the l1s in the a pillars taking over from there. The goal is factory integration and baking able to squeeze the 8w7s in a 4th order with 1:1 ratio would be awesome. If I can manage to do it I can handle a small drop in sq. The truck is also my work truck so I need to keep it somewhat functional.

The Mosconi units are nice but you can introduce noise. The ai net connection between alpine units is what made me with them. One of these days I'll get a rear stage figured out. The sub options were between the 8w7 the imagine 8" or the morel. I won't feel bad getting wasted and blaring the system and destroying an 8w7. Destroying a morel or imagine is a whole different story though.

Well thought out very awesome!! Very good points on the 8w7 vs the Morel. Not sure if you have measured everything up yet, but when I built my center console I got approximately 0.93ft^3 internal volume while maintaining 4" of storage up top, and this gave me 7" of mounting depth.

I have an idea what that is like working away from home and it sucks. The past 3 years I spent the majority of it in a hotel mon-fri makes it wicked hard to get any projects accomplished.
