RCD Thumper II

Anyone have any input on this pump share your thoughts, experences

just put one in my truck hasnt ran yet though.

awesome for larger injectors...we run it in the red truck holds ICP great!

depending what size injectors your running, the thumper 1 we have put a few in builds with as large as a 225 and holds ICP as well.

im sure jared will chime in on these.

I am also very curious... there was a huge hype for these when they first came out... but now I don't hear very much. I hope they are making power and hold up great!

We have used the thumper I and absolutely loved it.

If you aren't going larger than 225, stick with the thumper I

We've sold over 200 Thumper I and 50+ Thumper II. I've only ever had one pump come back on warranty and it was a 1 that was filled with trashed from a defective Oil cooler screen.

Lots of guys running Thumper II's. Justin Gerebizza, Jonathan Brooklyn, Tyler Brancifort, Craig @ MPD's numbers were absolutely stupid with 275 conventionals.

Plus if anyone follows Powerstroke Specialists out of Miami their regular cab shortbed is getting dialed in as a nasty ass set up with a GTX 4202, Thumper II and our 275/150s

They are pretty slick units

That red regular cab is beautiful.

Thanks for the response. That is good to hear! I might have to pick up one of these! I was worried because I heard rumors of lots of pumps not holding up and getting sent back. I was even told by one guy that these are being discontinued and wont be sold anymore. Thanks for clearing things up.

People are stupid, and liars. We arent quitting anytime soon. They flat out work. The ONLY time there is an issue is if the injector manufacturer doesnt understand how to machine the oil side of an injector, but thats not my problem.

A perfect example would be a 225MM injector with a 245MM oil side in comparison to ours. I always tell people, if you dont know, or want to be sure when running a 225MM injector, bump to a stage 2.

I am curious who is spreading these lies, feel to PM you if you want. I'd love to let them see our sales history :ford:

I do know there is another company with aftermarket pumps having a hard time keeping up with them and with quality control, hopefully their name isnt being intermingled with ours..

Speaking of "other pumps" what's your thoughts on that other pump for the 03-04 trucks. I've heard good things but I thought you had a bad experience with one?

We had one in brents truck. A brand new bosch HPOP held higher icp than that one. It is what it is.. lol

We couldnt get what we wanted out of the early ones and Josh didnt want to pursue it. we've sold a ton to early guys who've updated ot the later style

That's really useful intel. I'm thinking about switching things up with my truck next year, and I'll be going bigger on everything. Was definitely looking at getting one of your Thumper IIs, as well as several other RCD goodies.

I've got to get one of these for my current build

I have been running one on my truck for months now with no issues!! Holds and maintained ICP.. Jared is great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone!!

I second that! He's one of the best in the biz! He goes above and beyond to take care of his customers! Hope to maybe give him a call again in the spring to get more stuff!

We have a stage 2 on my brothers pulling truck running RCD 310 hybrids and have been more than impressed. Can't got wrong with RCD pumps or injectors

Oh good lord, I hope not.

The lead time on the housings is absurd for us so I was sending guys your way while we're out of stock but I never implied any one of us was going under or having issues.

Sorry if that was my fault and I'm sorry if someone misunderstood me on the phone!

Didnt shockley do one on his truck for this season? When i moved he was talking about how stoked he was about it. that should really take his truck to the next level. already did 1017 on fuel with a stock HPOP.
