T4 v T4

Trying to decide if a T4 turbo will fit on a T4i mount. I know the bolt holes are slightly off.

As I've been comparing pics, I can't help but notice that it looks the housing on the t4i is "longer" than a t4 so it will sit higher than a t4 housing.

Anyone actually try it?

Doubt it’ll work. They make adapters but too close to work.

I believe the t4i mount is taller the a t4 but I’m just recalling from memory

Basically, just trying to see why it will not work, given that the bolt pattern is only 3mm out between the T4 and T4 International flange.

Near as I can tell fitment is related to the size/length of the exhaust housing.
Given that the T4I mount is taller, that makes perfect sense.
