They dye will clog the ***. And its illegal to run on the roads. Its a hefty fine. Way cheaper to run #2 then one fine if cought.

It will do it quicker than regular #2. Or it has in the past. Maybe not the newest ones.

I know farmers who run it and they had stuff clog up quicker. A few 6.4s and a couple 6.7s. But i guess i dont know anything.

Probably coincendental tbh...
I had a chat with Forrest Nearing on this as he worked in that industry and he said all ulsd came out of the same tanks. All fuel got dyed.....some was red, others were whatever color the distributer specified.

Odds are that the farmers are running fuel out of their fuel tanks that they have on the farm, and you never know what kind of crud is in those tanks. Much less when or how often they change the filters on them.
That is if they even have filters on the tank

The majority of the excavators and loaders I work on are ran on red, and they usually get over 4,500 hrs out of a d.p.f. before too many issues. Some get quite a bit more, but hoenstly can't see the red dye causing that.
