Sway bar broken bracket on front axle

I have a 2000 f250 with the 7.3 in it..and the front passenger side of the axle the bracket with the two bolts is broken off and gone..any idea of a fix for this?? Just weld another piece of 1/4 strap??

Just remove the sway bar.....

Just had the same thing happen to mine I just had a buddy who's a better welder then me stick it back together and it's all good so far good luck

I took mine off the day after I got my truck. That was 6 years ago and 80k miles. I notice no difference in how it drives vs. any other superduty I've ridden in, except that annoying clank.

There's not an excessive amount of roll or anything??

just bend a new strap and put on it.... i prefer to have a swaybar... pulled the one off my dads 2000 and with anything on the flatbed the body roll gets a lil excessive i would say
