That’s pretty cool. I wish I could find my fathers old super duty.

I honestly never thought I’d see it again. I told my wife that if I did ever find it after I sold it that I wanted to buy it back. 8 years and 3 months later, here we are. It’s been less than 20 minutes from me for the last 3 years and never saw it once.

No picks cause I’m horrible about taking them while working, but...

Ripped out the entire interior and laid down dynamat, swapped out head unit, added a 5 channel amp, ran all new speaker wire (cab to doors was a bitch!) threw in some high end JL mids and highs, added tweeters, and a single 10” behind the back seat in a box I built.

All the tire tools still fit where they’re supposed to!

Sounds so much better!

Had both main tierod ends and cross tube replaced today at 138k. I found moog parts on Amazon for way way less the price of the dime stores moog prices so i said f it instead of going with oem this time and i like being able to grease um up..

It was over 600 bucks from ford when i did my 12 the last time just for the same parts. I got 180 into it all this time. Would have been over 500 for moogs at the parts stores...

Excellent!
If it gives you any peace of mind, our Excursion had greaseable Moog tie rods, ball joints, etc put on it at 115,000 to replace the worn stock parts. I grease it at every oil change (5,000 miles) and it has almost 313,000 miles on it currently, so almost 200,000 miles on the Moog parts.

Thats great! Moogs used to be the best for aftermarket. Lots of people have failures but i grease at 5k oci also so it should be ok id think. Lol

Scored an aluminum end tank intercooler today because I’m not sure how much longer the plastic one is going to be happy for. And I grabbed 2 new fenders while I was there for the truck. The ones I ordered from rockauto got sent back and canceled when they showed up damaged.

Does it still count if you had it done because you cant do the work on it yourself?

Factory steering stabilizer was shot. I had this same setup on my 12 and it worked great so i fugured why not? Well, i had a bilstein in the factory spot and the RC dual setup but for the price i went with matching shocks this time. It is actually better then my 12 ever was and caster was at 3ish on the 12.. i have no idea what caster is on the 15 even though i just had it aligned and new tie rod ends and cross tube put on along with some 35/12.5r20 mastercraft cxt tires like i had on my 12 when i wrecked it. When these shocks go then ill get some fox shocks to replace them.

That's what I'm running on my 17 Jake, the shocks are holding up so far. We'll see after a season of plowing, lol

Put the Honey Badger JR that I got from Jake, and a new Motorcraft IPR, on my OBS today.

Washed it for the first time at the new house. Really enjoying the mixing valve hose bib and having some hot water on a cold day.
