Default Windshield tint strip

Anyone have and tips on how to tint over the super duty lettering on the windshield? Did one on my buddies truck could never get the air bubbles out on the textured part above the rearview mirrior.

Either cut the tint around it or you will need some kind of filler between the dot matrix and tint to fill the voids. I've read where superglue was used. Just make sure it doesn't have ammonia in it as it reacts with the adhesive on the tint.

A heat gun will make it lay down.

My tint is cut around the lettering and dots in the center.

My tint guy uses black vinyl and puts that over the dots for rear defrosts.

My guy did a heat gun when he did mine and it came out pretty good. Did my whole windshield with 35.
As mentioned, with an aftermarket windshield there's no SD logo and imo looks much better too.
