This morning my truck shut down on me. Immediate loss of power then I noticed my check engine light came on. Shortly afterwards the truck lost electrical power too. It has been lower on volts and starts up somewhat hesitantly in the mornings. The alternator was replaced a year ago and batteries are a few years old.

Got it towed back and am wondering where I should start with it. I've been reading on hpop's and camshaft position sensors. Neither really seem to fit what happened to my truck though. It's 97 f250 with 206,xxx miles...everything's stock besides my injectors and DP tuner.

Do you get the WTS light and any other warning lights when you first turn the key one?

If the check engine light came on then there is a code stored that you will need to get read to see what direction you need to go.
