Duramax vs Powerstroke Tuning Methods

I am new here but am super excited to have a tuning section! I am new to mcc and am having a hard time getting going. I am just wondering if some of the duramax tuning methods are applicable to the 6.7 as they are both a v8 and have sensitive rods etc. There is a lot more support for the duramax (efi live) and write ups compared to the powerstrokes let alone the 6.7. I have a 2013 ccsb and am planning a 2015 turbo swap soon so want to have a good jump on mcc before I do the turbo swap and have to tune that!

You don't really have to worry about rods until you do dual pumps
