My truck is driving me crazy!!! It starts and runs perfect and I can drive around town with no issues but as soon as I hit the interstate or try to tow a trailer it looses power and starts skipping to the point that I have to pull over and shut it down. After a couple of key cycles it starts back up like nothings wrong then 2 miles later the same thing happens again.

Check fuel pressure

First thing fuel filters,check fuel pressure.

Check fuel pressure for sure. Mine was having a similar issue and it ended up being something between the tank and the suction side of the pump. I ended up buying a sump for the tank and haven't had a problem since.
