Mine is working fine. But are you sure the slack is in the box?
front end was rebuilt about 8k ago. Ball joints, tie rods and adjusting sleeves.

slack has been there as long as I can remember. Driving down a straight road I'm turning the wheel side to side like a 80s cartoon lol.

Threw on a PMF dual steering stabilizer last year and it made maybe a 15% improvement.

Hey everyone, bringing this back up

I'll be sinking a couple bucks into the truck next year finally, and looking to remedy some steering issues.

thus far, the box hasn't leaked again, but there is so much damn slack in it, some bumpsteer, and it's been impossible to turn the wheel at low speeds since the weather started cooling down.

I did flush the system a few years ago (maybe 5k ago), and have the PMF dual stabilizer.

Currently on a 4" lift, 35x12.50 on 20x10

Next year I plan to step up to 8", 38x15.50 on 20x12. I'm sure this will make the steering much worse.

Will crossover steering help? I see a few of these kits, but not a single manufacturer or vendor advertises what the kit remedies.

Also still torn on what box to get. Redhead, bluetop, or just a Cardone?
