Wastegate Control Solenoid?

I have a 98 E350 (early 99) and I am getting this trouble code. How am I getting this code if I, the vans, don’t have a wastegate?

The sensor is not seeing any pressure probably. Need a ****** pigtail

Where is the sensor? On the turbo between down around the spyder? Who sells a d e l e t e?

Is everything stock? Computer should already know there is no wastegate.

As far as I know the computer is the original. I have a hyrda chip with Jelibuilt tunes.

Is there anything on the spyder? Like a harness?

Nothing on the spyder.

My spyder on the van looks like this. Directly out of the turbo and Y’s into the intake plensums, except mine doesn’t have that that intake heater or whatever that is. It doesn’t even have the port there for it.

Wish I knew more about the van setups. The harness is different from a truck obviously, so the PCM should be different also. Was the computer swapped at any time?

Not that I know of. I am ordering an EBPV d*lete and a 470 ohm 1 watt resistor to connect into the plug that connects to the pedestal so the “soft code” will hopefully go away.
