Turbo sizing for compounds

Okay so I just started a new build and need advice/ opinions on turbo sizing. I know a bunch of folks are going to scream big single but I've already decided to go the compound route. Engine is fully built, 400/200 injectors, partial fill, girdle, crower rods, coated and delipped pistons, fire rings, head studs and all the other top end goodies. I plan on running a gated s369 and either a s488 or s482 but not sure which atmospheric would be better. Also I don't tow but the truck will be driven almost daily, any input is appreciated

I would go with the s488 personally because I think the 82mm would limit you some up top and the 369 would spool plenty fast and kick the 88mm in quick for a very fun daily

Do you think I'll have enough fuel with the 200% nozzles? I didn't think the 400% nozzle would be daily friendly and I've heard a lot about them cracking. Also what exhaust housing should I run on the s488? I was thinking 1.32 but didn't know if a smaller housing would make it more street friendly without losing to much up top.

I have no personal experience with a 400/200 so I’m not sure but i run 400/400 and a single 75 and it drives really good. I would imagine you would have enough fuel. I am not sure on what exhaust side you should go with hopefully some other people with more knowledge will pitch in. The ideal setup I always thought for daily driving would be s468 to a 92 mm of some sort. Maybe spend the money and get a ball bearing 92mm

What are the differences between a Borg Warner turbo and a Forced Inductions turbo of similar specs?I know that the forced inductions turbos have become very popular lately. I just don’t know much about them.

Also what are the differences between say a regular Borg 476 and and SXE?

Very interested in this as well. This is the setup I want to do when I have funds for a fully built truck exactly how I want it to be the best daily driver possible.

I ran a kit back in the day that was a gated 66mm mod h2e and an s595. It was a little laggy but not too bad with 400/400's. Temps and smoke were very manageable too. chargers have came a LONG way since i ran that kit so im sure theres smaller turbos that flow as much as the ones i ran and spool even better.

I read a really long post by Charles from a few years back (it was 126 pages I think), and he was using a 38r as the secondary. I have a KC38r currently. I wonder how the KC38r would do paired up with a S482 and some 300/200 or go really big like he did and go KC38r, GTX5533r, and 400/400. Either way I would plan on using Swamps competition motor. This would be a fully custom built truck - engine, suspension, drivetrain, exterior, interior. The goal would be the most responsive, most powerful, with the least amount of smoke (at least on the street). My idea of the absolute best daily driver.

Something to consider when sizing compounds is the size of the high pressure charger turbine wheel compared to the compressor side. Also turbine flow of the hp turbine is crucial too for back pressure purposes at wot. I ran a hx55 with a 80/76 turbine and a 66/98 compressor and a s4t which has the s500 turbine and a 86mm compressor with a 1.15a/r housing and 400/200’s with swamps tuning. Truck ran great and drove like a stock truck if you wanted it to. Very little smoke and could have thrown the egt gauge out the window. Would run 65 psi in a light street tune and about 95psi in the drag race/pull tune. That was with no wastegates either.

You never had any issues with drive pressure running them without a gate?
