Does anyone know where I can buy 8 inch wide dually rims? I have looked all over and cannot find any. It has 16x6s and I want to run a 285/70 or 295/70 which require at least a 7.5 in wide rim. It is a 99 f350.:shrug:

I have a 2000 dually. with the stock 16x6 alloy wheels. ive never ran any tire less smaller than a 285/75 on it. right now I have 305/70 bfgs on it and they are good to go. ive had the 305s on there for 25k and they are wearing evenly. the old 315 75 bfg tires wore the centers a wile before the outer edges started wearing butt hey still wore evenly and lasted me 40k miles. so don't believe the hype on they do not fit or work! I also tow 10k with this truck all the time.

I am thinking about putting 285/75 nitto trail grappler mts on them. Should i put a spacer between the rear wheels or will there be enough room. And will they work on the front? Its a 2wd so it has the twin ibeam. Should i do the thing of putting srw wheels of the front?

Do what ever you like. Yes you'll need spacers between the rear wheels. Make sure you get the correct ones. They are specific fit that the whee load is on the hub not the lug nut studs. I got mine from arrowcraft. They are 2" and steel. Not to much money either.
