Front axle swap

Okay guys here is my situation. My truck is a 1997 f250 7.3. It was originally a 2wd and now it's 4wd but it has a 1992 ttb front end. I want to straight axle swap it. Any advice, tips, instructions?

I'm doing the debate of newer dana60 SAS or the older. Older front only atleast where I live cost as much as the newer front and rear combined. So first figure out a budget. Then hit the junk yards or car-part and see what's out there. I've gone so far to start looking for wrecked f350s on copart.

I'd just look for a kingpin D60 and just do the front. bolt pattern will be the same that way.

now for mounting it, you could do simple leaf springs or link it which would ride better. not sure which would be easier to do going from a TTB setup though
